Happy October!

October is here. I imagined the air is crisper and cooler but it could be all in my mind. Autumn doesn't exist here but I wished it does. Think of all the nice jackets I can wear and nice wooly cardigans on display at various shops begging to be snuggled into. :) with a cup of hot Earl grey tea and my favourite book of the moment. That's what I'm doing, minusing sweaters and wearing shorts and tee instead. Bliss.

I have been restricting myself from the Internet the last week. My laptop has not been opened or touched and strangely I have no urge to do so. I used my free hours immersing myself in books and watching movies on DVD. Ok, I do cheat, I checked my FB and surf a little on my iPhone, but the time spent online is remarkably lesser since the screen is small and it's not that fun to surf without a mouse. Hmm.

There are times when I wanted to switch on my laptop to update my blog but I didn't. The thing is I can spend hours online and before I know it, hours have passed. The evening is over and I have done nothing else! That's where I have to relearn discipline and instill it on a daily basis. 30 mins to an hr daily. Is that enough?

Oh and articles have also stated that radiation is bad for you so since I have been sick, hubby feels I should not spend too long infront of my laptop. But working laptop and pleasure laptops are 2 different things. Ok, anyway, I need to have discipline and take care of my health.

I'm recovering but still tired and occasionally feel cold and feverish. Strange but am ok. The flu seems to have migrated to my gastric as I have been having wind and just had tummy upset and LS. Tummy feels a little strange now. I'm going to take a nap now.

Last night, Hubby and I went for a night walk with 8181 participants organised by Maybank. It was fun and we had a good exercise. I will upload pictures when I transfer the pixs to my laptop soon. We should do more stuffs like this. :)
