On Mon, hubby & I had lunch with my in-laws and 大哥 who came back for a short visit. We went to Greenwood Ave (@ Bt Timah) and had seafood at Bistro Fish Market.

Yummy swordfish, but I find the mussels so so.. the oysters were great! Lightly baked with cheese, the original flavour is still present.

Great desert- Warm chocolate cake and brownie. A note: to order the warm chocolate cake in the middle of the meal as it takes 25 mins for it to be baked and served.

Karang Guni....

Never knew that cleaning up a workspace is so much fun when everyone chipped in to help! We cleared and packed away boxes of papers, files, CRFs and were quite amazed when we looked at the no. of boxes in the corridor! And as we pushed the empty boxes out of the office on the trolley, I could almost hear myself shout out "Karang Guni! Sway bo chuah, din si gei!" (no TV I know)... hahaha...

They were great! cos I know it would take me hrs to sort and packed these stuffs on my own.

Now it's on to archival and shipping back medical equipments and laptops.  One grouse though, I think my past site workplace is reeeally thorough, cos we would itemize each items sent back to sponsor, with a proper inventory, serial no and it's really neat and efficient. Now, sites and even overseas offices sent us items without any inventory paperwork... ("_"\\\)  ... sigh.. Sponsor really 难做 &  幸苦. But ok lah, I'm sure there are some nice sites & people out there *keeps fingers crossed*

Makan_10: Company's Espresso coffee

Coffee therapy. How simple is that? All it takes for me to feel better today was this cup of espresso coffee. I have been sitting next to the maker for mths and I have not tried either the fancy espresso coffee nor the conventional espresso coffee. I believe the above counts for fancy. They have individual flavored coffee powder in little pre packed capsule.. containers.. whatever... and by inserting it into a slot and pressing a button you get smooth coffee! Whee! Not sure about the rest of the flavors (it's unfortunately not labelled) but my current fave is the gold colored capsule!

The last few days hasn't been going very well for me. Other than my gripes about the weather, I have been tortured by severe back pains (mid spine and lower back) and a nagging flu. The giddiness and finger numbness has been on off and I'm a little worried. Plus, my menses has been 2 weeks late and the hormones are driving me crazy with frustrations and 'bloatedness'. It finally came yesterday.

Anyhow, it's time for me to sleep and I'm still feeling rather awake. The out of sorts feeling is still present and I'm generally damm sianz of everything. It's just me.. hope it will pass and the pain will ease or go away. Tired of it all.

I have been feeling rather out of sorts lately. Just thoughts...

Our great holiday in Perth!

We had a great holiday! Really really great! I can't count the number of pleasures we had, the great company, the marvelous food, the chirping birds, the great coffee, yogurts and ice cream. Baskin Robbins Peanut butter chocolate (?)- good enuff for me! Marrons? Succulent & fresh! (though I couldn't eat more than one that day.. :( )

Many things made my day.. and  one which brought a constant smile to my face is remembering the 4 ducks that waddle pass us at Swan river.. pass the pesky raven and greedy seagulls that surrounds us hoping for a bite of Hungry Jacks. It's amazing how nature can make everything worth it. How God's creation is so wonderfully crafted, how amazing God made friends like you. :D

I miss you, miss the weather and the nature that surrounds. The time spent together is not enough and I wish there's more I can do for you and say to you.  I can only pray for you and look at the same stars we are seeing every night and wish that you will be ok, and that when you look at the fairy, you will know that I'm thinking and praying for you.
