Let it go.

To let go is not to try to change or blame another,
it’s to make the most of myself.

To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.

To let go is not to deny,
but to accept.

To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires,
but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.

To let go is not to criticize or regulate anybody,
but to try to become what I dream I can be.

To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.

To let go is to fear less and love more
and to let God in to find peace.

Drifting petals

“My tears are like the quiet drift of petals from some magic rose; and all my grief flows from the rift of unremembered skies and snows. I think that if I touched the earth, it would crumble; it is so sad and beautiful, so tremulously like a dream.”

Thinking positive

I will have to keep on trying. Towards a goal, unknown journey, unknown destination.
Fear keep me stagnant, keeps me down, keeps me from daring to try, to live a life which I may be good at.
Who knows what will happen? My life belongs to Him.
He gave me this and everything I have.

Thank you God.

Positive words

"Do you have doubts about life? Are you unsure if it is really worth the trouble? Look at the sky: that is for you. Look at each person's face as you pass them on the street: those faces are for you. And the street itself, and the ground under the street, and the ball of fire underneath the ground: all these things are for you. They are as much for you as they are for other people. Remember this when you wake up in the morning and think you have nothing. Stand up and face the east. Now praise the sky and praise the light within each person under the sky. It's okay to be unsure. But praise, praise, praise."

Lessons from a cat that has the same name as hubby :)

1. Wake up each morning with a song I'm your heart. Sing out when you first see someone you know.

2. Eliminate the rats in your life. You will feel less stressed.

3. Take time out of your day to take time out of your day.

4. Sleep well and rest often. A good nature depends on good sleep.

Why fiction exist

Fictions exist because of this fact. Because we have only one life, and our desires and fantasies demand a thousand lives. Because the abyss between what we are and what we would like to be has to be bridged somehow. That was why fictions were born: so that, through living this vicarious, transient, precarious, but also passionate and fascinating life that fiction transports us to, we can incorporate the impossible into the possible and our existence can be both reality and unreality, history and fable, concrete life and marvelous adventure.
