Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tide Gala Premiere

I was so excited that the tickets hubby won was for a premiere gala and the grand opening ceremony for Lido! Since he couldn't make it, I went with SY on Monday (16/5) and it was GREAT!!!

We enjoyed the show ( and were feeling very smug that we got to watch it before US and Sg premiere 20/5 and 19/5 respectively) and saw a few celebrities, mainly Thomas Ong who was my childhood/ adolescent idol. *swoon :)

Great experience!

Words with Friends

I'm having a great time playing "words with friends" on my iPhone. It forces me to think, anticipate and strategize. I'd like to think I'm getting better at it but I think it's also lots to do with luck and timing, getting the right tiles at the right time.

I never really thought I would mind losing but lately I've gotten rather impatient and angry with myself for losing. This and "high noon". Too much losses can make one questions her stupidity/ mental alertness and hand/ mind coordinations (HN).

Anyway, I have been playing with A alot and he's really good. I can count the number of times I won him (not many) and this is one of the smartest game I have played with him.



Recently I have also played another game with a random stranger and boy .. Was it nerve wrecking. I was so determined to win him/ her and I DID! Muahahaha*

A day at Singapore Zoo

I'm truly amazed at how beautiful my country is when looked upon by eyes of visitors. 

I had a great day.

Music and photography

I'm thinking a lot and I'm feeling lousy. I can't seems to express myself and it seems music after work and taking pictures of anything seems to lift my spirits up.

Hanging out with people I enjoy and tapping on my right brain and eating good food are also plus points.

Gosh, I'm not making any sense here. 

Hope you like the pictures I've taken. It has been awhile since I played with my DSLR. Felt a little clumsy in my hands. Some of the shots were great though (I shamelessly say so myself- Hah!)
